Dexter: Original Sin Cast Reunites at Christian Slater’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony

A mini Dexter prequel reunion took place earlier today in Los Angeles!

Christian Slater has officially cemented his legacy in Hollywood—literally. Earlier today, the beloved actor was honored with the 2,815th star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony took place at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard and brought together not only fans, friends, and family but also a few very familiar faces from his latest project: Dexter: Original Sin.

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Slater’s contributions to film and television were celebrated in a heartfelt tribute that highlighted his versatility, longevity, and impact on the industry. But the occasion wasn’t just about looking back—it also served as a mini-reunion for the cast of Dexter: Original Sin, who wrapped filming almost eight months ago and concluded their debut season just four months back.

Among those in attendance to cheer Slater on were Dexter: Original Sin co-stars Sarah Michelle Gellar (Tanya), Alex Shimizu (Masuka), Reno Wilson (Bobby), Jasper Lewis (Doris), and acclaimed director Michael Lehmann, who helmed six episodes of the show's first season. Their presence not only added a layer of warmth to the event but also delighted fans of the prequel series.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and pride, with everyone beaming throughout the ceremony. Before the official unveiling of Slater’s star, both Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michael Lehmann took the stage to deliver touching speeches about their friend and collaborator, sharing personal anecdotes and heartfelt praise.

The entire ceremony was live-streamed on Variety’s official YouTube channel and is now available for replay below.
