After weeks of waiting, we finally have some fresh set photos featuring Peter Dinklage.
Spoiler Alert: The following article contains spoilers from the set of Dexter: Resurrection.
Production on Dexter: Resurrection is officially 20 weeks in, and cameras are expected to stop rolling soon as filming nears its final stages in New York City. While fans eagerly await the release of the first official trailer for the highly anticipated next chapter in the Dexter saga, fresh behind-the-scenes set photos have surfaced — and they’re bound to spark even more excitement.
Captured during filming on May 28 in Manhattan, the new images show Michael C. Hall (Dexter Morgan) and Peter Dinklage (Leon Prater) filming a scene together around midday. The two acclaimed actors appeared in high spirits between takes, offering fans a glimpse of the camaraderie behind the dark drama.
The main sequence was filmed inside American Cut, an upscale steakhouse located in Tribeca. If you’ve been following Dexter Daily, you might recall a recent casting call for background actors to portray pedestrians in Tribeca — it looks like this is the very scene those extras were cast for.
Peter Dinklage, who plays the enigmatic billionaire Leon Prater — rumored to be Dexter’s primary antagonist in Resurrection Season 1 — was spotted wearing a familiar beige outfit, consistent with earlier set appearances. Michael C. Hall, meanwhile, donned a sleek dark grey shirt paired with black pants, subtly hinting at Dexter’s return to a more calculated, stealthy persona.
While the full context of the scene remains under wraps, the images strongly suggest a tense and possibly pivotal conversation between Dexter and Prater. From the body language and expressions captured mid-scene, the stakes are clearly high.
Also seen on set was director Marcos Siega, engaging with both Hall and Dinklage during breaks. Interestingly, Uma Thurman was also spotted at the filming location. Though it’s not confirmed whether she was involved in this particular scene, she was photographed both inside and outside her character's vehicle, seemingly in communication with someone.
As we move closer to the series' release, these glimpses from the set offer an exciting taste of what’s to come in Dexter: Resurrection. Stay tuned for more updates, photos, and in-depth coverage right here on Dexter Daily.
