Watch Young Masuka and Young Batista Actors Do Impressions of Their Original Counterparts!

Alex Shimizu and James Martinez are clearly enjoying their time on the set, and it shows!

October marks the start of fall, and the cast of Dexter: Original Sin is currently filming the final episodes of the prequel’s first season, set to premiere on December 13 on Paramount+ with Showtime.

As the actors shoot scenes at CBS Radford Studios in Los Angeles and various other locations, they’ve taken to sharing their excitement from the set, teasing fans about this new chapter in the Dexter franchise. It's clear that Dexter: Original Sin is shaping up to be a worthy addition to the series.

The highlight of the week came from a live TikTok event last night, featuring the two main stars of the prequel spinoff, Alex Shimizu and James Martinez, who portray young Masuka and young Batista, respectively. During the brief live session, held between takes, both actors thanked fans by doing hilarious impressions of their original counterparts from the Dexter series that aired from 2006 to 2013.

As expected, Alex Shimizu nailed Masuka’s iconic perverted laugh, while James Martinez delivered Batista's memorable "Call me Papa" line from season seven, when Angel opened his beach bar in Miami. While fans may have missed out on a "La pasión" impression this time, there's a good chance it’ll happen soon!
