A former colleague from Miami Metro will appear in the new episodes. But who?
So far, Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter and John Lithgow are the only officially confirmed returning actors for Dexter: New Blood. Harrison returns too, and he'll be portrayed by Jack Alcott. Well, it looks like there will be another one major character return, this time from Dexter's previous workplace. Let's see a list with all the possible returning characters.

On September 9th, the same day Showtime released the full trailer for Dexter: New Blood, website Entertainment Weekly posted an article revealing that 'another character from Dexter's past' will come back. Well, the latest EW issue gives us another major hint about the character. Key words: "beloved character" and "Miami Metro Police Department".

Desmond Harrington and David Zayas are both quite silent in their social media accounts when it comes to Dexter's new season. Lauren Luna Velez recently said: "I need to see all of his foes come back. It’s a very interesting thing to me that all the women in the show were killed".
Geoff Pierson doesn't have any social media account, Erik King on the other hand, doesn't tweet much about Dexter lately. C.S. Lee who recently spoke with DexterDaily said that he won't be coming back and urged fans to begin a #BringBackMasuka "campaign", just two weeks before Dexter: New Blood wrapped production...
