      Marriage is difficult at the best of times. Throw Hollywood, make believe and PR imaging into the equation and it suddenly becomes nigh impossible.

      Carpenter is not the one currently stepping out with a boy that looks young enough to be her son! I mean, don't get me wrong, MCH is hot. He's intelligent, he speaks well and he is good at acting a part. Besides that, I'm beginning to think he's a bit of an idiot. He still turns me on, though. That's the power of delusion for you...

      Beauty is subjective. I've always thought Carpenter has a beautiful face. I wouldn't mind looking like that!

      You're right. He is intelligent, talented, charming, handsome, wealthy and for some reason it's not enough for these equally talented, beautiful women to stay married to Michael.

      You're right. He probably is an idiot. However his fame and good looks will always provide him with fresh victims. In his case, the younger the better.

      Yes I agree. Sadly it seems true.. 'the younger the better'. That is what leads me to believe that he's an idiot. A hot, sexy beast of an idiot. But still an idiot. I feel sad because it will inevitably end in tears (probably not for him as, like you say, plenty of fresh victims - no pun intended!). The tragic irony for me (and based purely on speculation because obviously I don't know) is that it appears that both Hall and Carpenter have a seemingly strong, close, trusting friendship (if what they say is true) and THAT is the stuff that a long lasting successful relationship is made of. Not lust or hankering after lost youth... I hope they both eventually find their way.
