Showrunner Clyde Phillips Talks Dexter Franchise Expansion: "I Couldn’t Be More Excited!"

February 6th, 2023 was a day Dexter fans will always remember. Not one, but two Dexter TV shows have been ordered to series by Showtime and Paramount+. The first one will be titled "Dexter: Origins" and will dramatize young Dexter Morgan in his early 20s at the outset of his transition into the avenging serial killer he would become. The next one, is a sequel to Dexter: New Blood starring Jack Alcott, the events of which will take place in New York City. Last but not least, Showtime is considering a Trinity Killer series about the early years of Arthur Mitchell, aka the most notorious adversary for Dexter Morgan. Clyde Phillips who will be involved with all new Dexter shows reacted to the news. Read what he said below!
