The Dexter: New Blood Title Sequence Will Be 'Very Different' Compared To The Original And Fans Aren't Happy

The Dexter morning routine opening turns 15 years old this year!

Showtime
During the virtual summer Television Critics Association press tour last Tuesday, showrunner Clyde Phillips didn't explicitly confirm or deny if there will be a title sequence on Dexter: New Blood, but given the new direction and tone, he revealed that it will be very different than before.

Dexter fans don't seem to be happy with what Clyde said, and we gathered some of the reactions from the replies of that article, in our social media accounts!

In case you missed it, Clyde Phillips said: “We haven’t really completely closed the idea of what the new titles are, but they will not [incorporate] the cheekiness of what we had before, the jauntiness and irony of what we had before.”

“The viewer should expect that the title sequence, if there is even a sequence... will be very different from what they’ve seen before.”

Of course, there are people that agree with that decision, considering that Dexter is now living in a whole different place and the tone will be darker.
