Best episode title ever. Awesome
ReplyDeleteHelter Skelter is also a title of the movie about Manson family.
ReplyDeleteNow that is awesome! Where is the guy who had a theory on song titles and the meaning between the Dexter + Deb relationship... RUH ROH
ReplyDeleteIt was "Z". I think he has Aspergers Syndrome.
DeleteWhat happened to "Z"? I miss his posts.
DeleteThat was me Bree. Changed my sig because the trolls have gotten obsessed with me. ;)
DeleteI have been super busy with photoshoots and scheduling nightmares out here in the real world. Stressful week... very stressful. Also kinda slow Dexter news the past few days.
As for the song:
"When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again
Do you, don't you want me to love you
I'm coming down fast but I'm miles above you
Tell me tell me tell me come on tell me the answer
Well you may be a lover but you ain't no dancer
Will you, won't you want me to make you
I'm coming down fast but don't let me break you
Tell me tell me tell me the answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer"
The lyrics would seem to indicate that they are dealing with the repercussions/ups and downs of their relationship in addition to whatever reference the title has to the central plot of the episode.
My initial thought would be, that, this episode, rather than focusing on Deb's turmoil, is focusing on Dexter's emotional turmoil about their relationship. "Do you don't you want me to love you."
DeleteThe spoilers have clearly stated that Deb is conflicted in her feelings for Dexter, and that she feels bad that she still loves him despite what he is. I am sure she will be "pressing in and pulling away" and leaving poor Dex with a general sense of confusion and Helter Skelter.
It's all just theories though!
zedul, you're boring.
Deleteyeah, Charles Manson was my first thought.
ReplyDeleteBut probably it is something different no one of us can imagine right now.
Well one thing's for sure, Episode 12 is not going to be called Lethal Injection with creative names such as Helter Skelter
ReplyDeleteWhere is zedul hiding nowadays
ReplyDeleteZ. Ebra
its me charlie
ReplyDeletei like that songgggggg
ReplyDeleteMaybe the blacks are taking over miami?
ReplyDeleteThis is news?
DeleteDeb joins Dexter at Dexter's table.
ReplyDeleteInstead of the Manson's...it's the Morgans !!
Helter Skelter
The blacks, really, did I just read that, anyway, overused, tired, thought you used it before, implies someone in the family gets killed.
