Dexter - Episode 7.01 "Are You...?" - New Promotional Photo

Hit the jump below to see what I found in a tumblr blog few minutes ago. It's a part from TV Guide Magazine which is referring on the season 7 premiere of Dexter and contains another promotional photo from the premiere.

Special thanks to drown-in-you.tumblr.com for this:

  1. this waiting is not fair. Thank you dexterdaily, i dont know how you do it! What has occured? Dexter took off his apron and now has gloves on (compared to earlier photo).. So what happened, she looks perplexed and he looks very in control...

  4. Are they going to burn the body/evidence to cover it up? I mean, she doesn't look distraught there. OH GOD I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER!

    1. Oh, that could be it. They have to explain what happened after it all and staging that they can say Travis burned himself alive in the church.

    2. Anon 6:09 - I think exactly the same. And it would also make sense - setting the whole crime scene on fire would allow them hide the fact that it was a murder, but still be able to identify Travis's body by his tooth and so they can close the investigation - both Dexter and Debra would be happy :)

    3. Dexter dumped Trinity into the ocean and Debra let the vigilantes escape with Jordan Chase's body. So why should they left Travis' body to be found?

    4. Because now it's Debra and not LaGuerta being responsible for the investigation. And DDK is medially as big as the Ice Truck Killer was, so Debra knows she has to close the case successfully.

  5. Partners in crime.

He certainly looks like he's about to set fire to something and she's complicit. Miami police department must be the most fucked up place on the planet...

  6. oh is that what it is?! A lighter.. huh... i dunno, if they set fire to the place it solves nothing because Gellar was the "doomsday killer" right? not travis... geeze.. i cannot wait. BTW: DirectTV people, free showtime this weekend, and all of season 6 is going to be on... so get the DVR ready

    1. Maybe you should watch season 6 again. They (Miami Metro PD) find out that Gellar is dead and that Travis is the real DDK.

    2. Correct. Gellar was never a bad guy, unfortunately. I was disappointed with him being dead the whole time, because I was expecting to see Edward James Olmos and Michael C. Hall act together.

  7. I would NOT put much stock into this photo as to what is going to happen in the first few minutes of the S7 premiere. I mean it's only a set photo and what we see in this pic most likely will not even be in the episode. I remember with seasons 5 and 6 this site showing promo pics that I never saw in this actual show. It means nothing really. Until we see the premiere, all bets are off.

    1. Don't you all know me yet? Of course it is a failure! Why he didn't lock the church's door as I'd instructed him all these years?!
In addition, I should have attended to Debra more. Apparently she's not the one to neglect.

  12. Well, Scott Buck did say that in Season 7, Dex will use all the ingenuity he can muster to survive. The slow corruption of Deb - very interesting but kinda sad.

    1. I thought he meant about making her understand and showing his side of it.

I think it's more about her helping proctecting him here. Which I guess could be considered corruption but not least reason

  13. I meant the slow corruption began when she suppressed Lumen's case, and became unknowingly complicit in hiding Dexter's secret. ;)
Scott Buck has said that just because Deb saw this moment doesn't mean that she will get the complete serial killer picture. I have a feeling she will work that out herself...gradually. Can't wait for the moment when she remembers she was plastic wrapped as well.

    1. She definitely did not remember when the FBI found out that the BHB wrapppes his victims in plastic before killing them (for those of you who don't remember: Lundy tells Dexter when they examine the coppycat crime scene).

    2. Scott Buck totally said after the season 6 finale that he wasn't going to cheat the fans. That they would be going all the way with the revelation that happened at the end of S6. he said that it was ALL going to come out with Deb and Dexter. It may drag out a little, but I don't think it will very much at all.

  14. This is obviously a DBZ crossover.

  15. Is it a lighter in his hand?

  16. It's not a lighter, it's a candle on a golden (or brass) plate.
