New Dexter Season 7 Scoop by Scott Buck

Click the link below to read a new spoiler about Dexter Season 7, by the executive producer of the show, Scott Buck...

via TVLine.com: Safe to say Season 7 will pick up right where Season 6 left off?
I think we’ll most likely be picking up exactly where we left off, or somewhere close to there.

  1. There is no other possible outcome from that ending then a beginning straight where it left off.

  4. Imagine if they chickened out and made another 1 year gap. Deb is cool with everything and they are secret fuck buddys, Quinn has been transfered and Laguerta is still alive UGH. :D

  5. feeling sorry for the writers...what words can Dex use to explain this away?LOL
    oh I know!!
    "Deb,...er,..um...it's not what you think!!"

  6. They did announce 2 more seasons so Im guessing Debb will freak out at first then understand why her father spent the time he did with dexter and her being in love with him, will try to help him over come his dark passenger. Real question is, who is this intern and what does he know about dexter. Maybe his older brother's son? Kinda wierd how he obtained the ice truck killer's memento and later knew to send it to Dexter on top of his whole video game over serial killers.

  7. i'm just glad it's returning. too bad the wait's almost 10 months away. just enough time to give birth.

  8. i have a fantasy where the whole show is actually dexter writing down his story (ergo narration throughout the whole show) in some shack, surrounded by an army of cops (his ex colleagues included) and the end is something like the end of that cowboy movie with paul newman and robert redford.
anyhow, whatever these brilliant people come up with will surely be awesome. really, really the best show on tv in last 10 years by far!

  9. I am wondering about this creepy IT guy. What is the deal with the hand that he sent to Dex? Is it just a grudge due to the criticism, does he know something about Dex dark passenger or true origin? Is he related to one of Dex victims?

  10. i think Deb found out about Dexter in Book 1 of the Dexter series, and she is fine with it like 10+ books in!!!...Poor Deb, she is so confused.

  11. I honestly do not know what is going to happen in Season 7. Im excited to see what will happen. Cant wait til Season 7!!!

  12. The I.T. Guy will be a good new serial killer, his sister has more explaining to do in my opinon, but Dex should of seen this coming, but like he said "I will not kill my sister..."

  13. Deb can't turn Dexter in. It will kill the next two seasons to come. Instead, he confesses to her his dark passenger and she confesses her love to him. They find comfort in each other, and maybe become secret f*ck buddies.
Dex helps Debra scout killers on the DL and her career takes off. Deb keeps Dex's moonlight a secret . . . Season 8 may end with them both being busted and found out in the dept. Or Dex narrating his life story behind bars protecting Debra and her involvement in the later part of the deal.

  15. I like this series so much and really dig the love thing going on with Deb and Dexter. Those two belong together.

Oh the thrill what I got from the last two episodes when it came clear that these characters would finally begin their journey towards love.

Lumen was nothing compared to this thing which is about to happen between these two who have so much to learn and gain from each other. Thank you writers of the show!

  16. Please don't be cowards, but continue the love story with Deb and Dexter. It will be fantastic if you do!

  17. Would have been fun to see how dexter managed to live in prison too (if deb turns him in)! there's many possible outcomes, but one thing I know for sure is that deb is going to freak out, she's unstabile enough from earlier stuff! god i love it

  18. forward to continuing the series

  19. @ anonymous posting on 12/19 11:49pm. It is kind of like that in the book series. Minus the f*** buddy stuff. She knows almost from the get go. She uses his instincts to help solve the cases, but she also dies. Who knows where they will go with this series. In the books, LaGuerta dies early in the series shortly after she connects him to some things. Looking forward to season 7.

  20. Oh, gross. Although not blood in veins related, but homicide - blood related. NO WAY should they continue the bro+sis=lovers line. Our society is sick enough! Love the series. Keeps adrenaline pumping. I still wish they had not killed off Bro. Sam. He really needs to be DAD of the ages for his son. Yeah, and Lewis has me really puzzled.
Oh yeah, Dex did kill a cop several season back and held the other one prisoner till the gas blew him up. It would be great to see him channel his abilities toward helping put criminals away legally. I liked it better when he only went after criminals that beat the system.

  21. First words of season seven should i thin go like this
DEXTER " He tried to kill you deb and he threatened Harrison, he had to die !"

DEB "What the F*&k Oh F*&k now F*&king what"

DEXTER "It`s ok deb I`ll sort it, go home i`ll make it dissapear."

  22. The Hole Brother and sister thing is Amazing i Love Following it as i watch back on the past seasons it feels like it was Building up to this so keep on going with that and Hopefully Dexter feels some thing for deb and They have to Hide there love for one another and i dont think they can make deb kill ppl with dexter shes not Reali like that she might agree with him but keep it hidden or Maybe Help him to some Level and i hope she helps Him with hes dark passenger and at the end of it all Dexter should have real Full love feelings for Deb

  27. Everyone keeps saying that Deb and Dex are not blood-related but if you recall, Harry took Dex and not Bryan from their mother's crime scene because Harry was Dex's biological father. Dex was the love child of Harry and Dexter's mother (also Bryan's mother). Bryan and Dex are half siblings but so are Debra and Dex! It would be very sick to pursue a romantic relationship between the two of them. I would have to quit watching at that point. I don't think it is going to happen and as a matter of fact, I have read that particular storyline would not be pursued.

    1. Goddamn, how do people keep getting this wrong? It was confirmed by blood test that Dexter is the biological son of Joe Driscoll, not Harry's son.

  28. It would also be a major copout if they didn't at least a little bit. Debra telling the therapist that she wants Dexter to know that she's in love with him was crossing the Rubicon, can't go back to their bro/sis relationship without a ton of unnecessary exposition. And even still, the relationship would never truly be the same. It might be even more awkward than if she were to confess she's in love with him. As Brad Delp once so wisely stated: "Don't look back"!

  29. Deb knows about Dex in the books. She has to accept him in season 7. It would help her career and she would understand how Dex could be so good at "guessing" how crimes are committed. How else could there be a season 8 if she doesn't accept him? I hope they get off the "Deb being all ga-ga over Dex" thing. He has no real emotions...just a thirst to hunt and kill!

    1. You're wrong there. Dexter definitely has emotions by S6. Book Dexter and TV Dexter both develop emotions, they're just hard to see because he tries very hard to wall himself off from others.
