Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter not getting along on set of Dexter

Work on the sixth season of Showtime’s highly popular killer series “Dexter” is well under way, but things on set are far from rosy, as they once were. Following the divorce announcement of the two leads, Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, the two can’t see eye to eyeClick below to read the rest of the article:

“They talk as little as possible while they are filming scenes together and then avoid each other like the plague the rest of the time,” an insider says. Because of this, tension on the set is so thick you could cut it with a knife. If the two don’t come to an understanding – and a truce – soon enough, there’s no telling how much more they can keep it together for the cameras, the report suggests

“They have a ton of unresolved issues over their marriage, but they have nothing to say to each other at this point,” the spy goes on to say

One such unresolved issue would be Michael’s refusal to start a family with Jennifer, which is what she’d been asking him for some time – before she reportedly found out of his affair with Stiles

“It seems as if Jennifer hasn’t forgiven Michael and she’s not making life on the set for him easy,” the insider explains.

“The caring sibling relationship viewers see on the screen is diametrically opposed to the bitter atmosphere between the former lovers when the cameras aren’t rolling. It’s incredibly awkward for everyone on the set,” the source adds.

In the meantime, producers and everyone involved are promising fans a brilliant season 6, one that will see the beloved (anti)hero explore new aspects of his life and, of course, face new challenges. It premieres this fall.

  1. Was it ever confirmed by anyone other than the rumor mill that he had an affair with Stiles in the first place?

I don't follow actors personal lives much as I don't really give a crap what they do off camera.

  2. I hope it doesn't get too bad. Would be disappointing for a major character loss because of their personal lives behind the camera.

  4. Probably just gossips.
However if it is true, they might acting a little more professional, and as adults.

  5. As long as they keep Michael C Hall. I never did like the way they played together as sister & brother. Please don't boo!me but she is not a very emotional actress, kind of just says her lines. I always wondered how she got picked to be on this show. I've loved Michael ever since 6 Feet Under!

  6. I have to say a way to resolve the issue is to kill off the Deb character/transfer somewhere else with/without Quinn. now ,i used to love Deb but these days shes just lost her pazazz. obviously real life effects work as acting is an emotional process, but still MCH is the star, bottom line.

and it is effecting the rest of the cast? something needs to be done straight away.

  7. I don't believe this for two reasons: Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter have both said numerous times that they have remained friends and still have great respect for each other even though their relationship is over. Also, Hall and Stiles never had an affair. That was a rumor which was never confirmed by any credible source. I'm calling gossip here.I don't believe this for two reasons: Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter have both said numerous times that they have remained friends and still have great respect for each other even though their relationship is over. 9. It's sad to hear that. I hope they can solve this situation 'cause they work together, I mean it's all abput separating personal isses from work. I really hope they can work it out, 'cause it really sounds that Deb's gonna find about Dex this year... sure, they can always kill her after that, maybe at the end of the season or in season 7, if things don't go well.

  10. You know Guys I KNEW This would Happen

Why Because DEXTER is Getting ALL THE ATTENTION

The Sixth season has had SUCH AN AWESOME Build up
So many NEW and BIG stars have joined the Show

Jennifer ie Debra was ALSO Missing from the Recent campaigns such as Comic Con and other Press Conferences

At that time I first realised that Debra is Missing so she is NOT HAPPY with Both the Show and Michael

Suddenly Debra's IMPORTANCE in the Show has declined

  11. Both Michael and Jennifer are EXTREMELY TALENTED ACTORS

So Guys Please resolve your Differences

    We LOVE BOTH OF YOU

  12. There aren't any differences! Jennifer's rep just released a statement saying that she and Michael's friendship is stronger than ever. I mean...it's the ENQUIRER you guys. This is the same rag that swears that some celebrities are aliens! Consider the source before believing the hype.

  13. Yeah, this isn't true at all. Don't believe these people, Hall and Carpenter are still good friends and very professional actors. This is just redundant tabloid gossip.

  14. I call bullshit. For one, the rumor about MCH and Stiles was NEVER confirmed. Another thing, from actual credible sources, they have talked about how easy going and professional the set of Dexter is and I see MCH and Jennifer as complete pros. If they are actually having the problems the so called "source" says they are having, I can almost guarantee you that they ARE NOT doing it on set. That would be completely unprofessional and just awkward and I DO NOT think that either one of them would show disrespect to the show, the producers, the actors, the guest stars and even the crew by showing such a lack of professional courtesy. I just don't buy it at all.
