I agree with Kevin that they probably aren't releasing the 9th episode name because of spoilers. They'll probably release part-way through the season.
ReplyDeleteI think they're progressing a lot faster with the production than they were last year... I hope this means we'll be seeing more than the usual 13 episodes.

ReplyDeleteNot confirmed. But the producers have mentioned that it probably is not the last season, because they'd discuss the end of the show in advance and they haven't (it's in one of the posts on this site).
ReplyDeleteThey won't do 15 episodes, Christmas & New Year's Day are on Sunday this coming holiday season. Something huge is happening in the 11th episode that will enable Showtime to hype up the Finale for 3 weeks. I've heard that they are being even more secretive about this than they were 2 years ago with Season 4's finale..

ReplyDeleteI could see them doing as many as 13 episodes because of the holidays, but I think they're just doing 12 and are going to shock us with the finale...and they want the highest ratings they've ever had.

ReplyDeleteI think what Nick is saying would be truth, considering that "Dexter have still lots of life in him";p And that would put him on rampage in season seventh (7th, 7th!! :D). About episode 9th its obvious name for it is spoiler or it is still under construction.. but the first one is more reliable. And i think SO6 will have 13 episodes only if Debra die (tho i never liked her that much it would be such a loss..) so 13 would be like funeral and Dexter thoughts, but also a 7th season spoiler, so it also could end as season 6 episodes 12 and SO7E01 called 'Funeral' xD

ReplyDeleteYou people saying Deb is caught murdering someone in episode 11 and put in the electric chair in episode 12 do realize that there would have to be a 10 year time lapse between those episodes right?
ReplyDeleteYou know how our justice system works - you don't go on death row and die in a week or a month or even a year. In fact - studies show that most death row inmates wait nearly a decade for the sentence to be carried out. Google it if you don't believe me.
So I have to assume your sources are your own overactive imaginations or a 10 year old. No offense.
I think it is one of the bad guys which ends on the electric chair. He is certainly in the death row far before the season start. He is certainly the guy who commands thoses fanatics religious since prison.

ReplyDeleteLaGuerta is going to play nasty and sabatoge Debra so that she gets off the case. Debra will have a breakthrough. Dexter will question his dad and his head and put that to rest too. "kill" his dad while he's killing travis and burying old habits. Debra will be unstopable.
