This new casting call is seeking non-union individuals for an outdoor scene set in Manhattan.
The second week of filming for Dexter: Resurrection is wrapping up, and production is already moving ahead for week three. Several new scenes are scheduled to be filmed in key locations across Manhattan, and a new casting call has just been released for one of them.
Waldron Casting has announced that the series is currently looking for background actors aged 18 and over, both men and women, to portray springtime parkgoers in an upcoming scene set to film on Tuesday, April 28.
What actually makes this opportunity especially interesting is that the casting call is once again open to non-union, meaning you don’t need to be a member of SAG-AFTRA to apply. For fans of Dexter: Resurrection, this is an amazing chance to make a brief appearance in the highly anticipated sophomore season and be part of the show’s return.
As expected, details about which cast members will be involved or how the scene fits into the overall plot are being kept secret. Still, one small but notable detail stands out, and it comes from the word “spring” in the casting description. Combined with our recent report about a time jump in the new season, it suggests that the story may take place around the same time as real life.
Waldron Casting has also shared a submission card with contact information, additional details, and instructions for applying. Anyone interested should follow those directions carefully and make sure their submission is complete, as incomplete applications won’t be considered.
Good luck to any Dexter Daily readers planning to apply!
