Following the conclusion of the Dexter: Resurrection panel at SDCC, Showtime released a new set of official cast images.
July 26 marks exactly one year since Dexter: Resurrection was officially announced during San Diego Comic-Con 2024—and what a year it’s been. In just 12 months, the highly anticipated continuation of the Dexter saga has wrapped filming and premiered its first four gripping episodes.
Looking back, few could have predicted that this new chapter would materialize—especially after the seemingly final ending of Dexter: New Blood. Even more surprising? The jaw-dropping ensemble cast that Showtime assembled for the series.
And yet, here we are.
Alongside returning fan favorites from both the original series and New Blood, Dexter: Resurrection boasts a lineup of acclaimed Hollywood stars, including Uma Thurman, Peter Dinklage, Neil Patrick Harris, Eric Stonestreet, Krysten Ritter, and David Dastmalchian. Their arrival has added an entirely new layer of excitement, mystery, and star power to the franchise.
To celebrate both the series' return to San Diego Comic-Con—this time with its own Dexter: Resurrection panel—and the electrifying Episode 4 ("Call Me Red"), Showtime has released a brand-new batch of cast posters. These are unlike any of the promotional images we’ve seen before.
For the first time, the new posters feature not only Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan but also the series’ biggest guest stars—all styled and staged as they appear in the now-iconic dinner party scene from Episode 4. Set in Leon Prater’s lavish mansion, the scene brought together a chilling assortment of killers in one unforgettable gathering. Each character is dressed as they were in the episode, seated around the table, staring down the camera with eerie intensity as an extravagant meal is served.
