Krysten Ritter Joins Dexter: Resurrection – Showtime’s Official Announcement, Teaser & Press Release

Showtime just unveiled a teaser announcing that Ritter will be joining the cast of Dexter.

A new week has begun on the set of Dexter: Resurrection, and Showtime just confirmed what fans have known since February 27—Krysten Ritter is officially joining the cast in a guest role.

The news first broke last Thursday via Deadline, which exclusively reported Ritter's casting. The actress later took to Instagram to share her excitement with fans.

Showtime’s Teaser Confirms Ritter’s Role

Showtime's announcement was accompanied by the now-familiar Dexter: Resurrection New York City subway teaser, featuring a photo of each new cast member displayed inside a subway train. Similar teasers were released for Uma Thurman and Peter Dinklage when their roles were announced.

One intriguing detail about today's reveal is that Showtime only confirmed Ritter's character’s first name—Mia. However, Deadline’s report went further, unveiling her full name as Mia Lapierre, her ominous nickname, Lady Vengeance, and the fact that she is a “notorious serial killer.”
