Another week of filming on the set of Dexter: Original Sin has come to an end.
With the highly anticipated premiere of Dexter: Original Sin just two months away, the cast of the prequel is actively using their social media platforms to share behind-the-scenes glimpses from the set. Whether at CBS Radford Studios in Los Angeles, where most of the main action takes place, or on various off-studio locations, fans are getting sneak peeks of what’s to come.
Reno Wilson (Bobby Watt), Alex Shimizu (Vince Masuka), and Christina Milian (Maria LaGuerta) have been the most active in sharing Dexter-related content on Instagram, while the three main stars of the prequel (the actors who play the Morgans) have kept a lower profile on social media lately.
As production heads into week 19 on the set of Dexter: Original Sin starting Monday, let's take a look back at week 18 and everything the cast shared on Instagram.
Starting off, Alex Shimizu and Christina Milian posted a fun collaboration video late last night, showing them dancing together on the Miami Metro PD set. Both actors are dressed in retro outfits, fully in character, and their moves are effortlessly cool. It's a lighthearted moment fans won’t see in the actual episodes, as LaGuerta and Masuka maintain a strictly professional relationship in the show!
Shimizu also posted a creepy image of a fake, blood-covered hand wrapped in a bandage, with what appears to be a screwdriver stabbed into it. It’s likely a prop from an upcoming episode, hinting at the darker elements of Dexter: Original Sin.
During an exterior shoot last week, James Martinez, who plays the young Angel Batista, shared a close-up shot of a camera on location in Los Angeles. In the background, the Dexter: Original Sin clapperboard can be seen, giving fans a small taste of the production’s behind-the-scenes action.
