Behind-the-Scenes Photos and Updates from the Cast of Dexter: Original Sin - Week 15

Despite it being Sunday, the cast of Original Sin returned to the set for some extra work!

Another hectic week on set has wrapped, and the cast was once again active on Instagram, sharing behind-the-scenes posts and stories. However, they must be cautious about what they share, as all have signed NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) to avoid revealing anything they shouldn’t.

The only main actor of the prequel who remains inactive on social media is Christian Slater, who plays Harry Morgan. The rest of the cast seems to enjoy posting updates from the Los Angeles set.

Let’s start with Christina Milian, who plays a younger Maria LaGuerta..

She posted a selfie from the set on Monday and later shared a photo of her trailer, parked near a filming location. The most intriguing part was the song choice in her Instagram story: Hall & Oates' 1980s hit "Maneater." This choice was likely deliberate, as the term "maneater" can describe a woman seen as seductive and manipulative, perfectly fitting LaGuerta’s character in the prequel.

Patrick Dempsey, meanwhile, shared a behind-the-scenes selfie with Sarah Michelle Gellar and a surprise visitor, actor Seth Green. “It was so great to see Seth Green after so many years. What a wonderful surprise!” Dempsey captioned the post.

However, some fans criticized the use of filters on the image below, feeling that neither actor needed them since they both looked great naturally—and we have to agree!

On a different note, Alex Shimizu, who plays a young Masuka, shared a photo from home while watching last Sunday's 76th Primetime Emmy Awards. During a commercial break, a Paramount+ promo aired, featuring a sneak peek of Dexter: Original Sin, and Shimizu was thrilled to see himself on TV. "Oh sh*t, I’m on TV, Mom!" he wrote. This is only the beginning for Alex!

As mentioned earlier, the cast was on set today despite it being Sunday. Shimizu posted a photo from inside a studio cart, with a sign reading "AD department" on the windshield, hinting at why they’re working on the weekend.

Molly Brown, who portrays a young Debra Morgan, also shared a mirror selfie from her trailer during the past week.

 A story from ealier today confirmed she was on set for some AD work as well.

Lastly, actor Reno Wilson, who plays Miami Metro's Bobby Watt, posted an IG story of himself training for upcoming shooting scenes. It’s impressive to see the dedication the cast puts into perfecting their roles and ensuring a realistic experience for the audience.
