Dexter: Original Sin enters second month of filming in Los Angeles.
Dexter: Original Sin is currently two months into production in Los Angeles, with the cast now filming episode four. This week, several cast members shared behind-the-scenes images, including a first look at a younger version of a character Dexter fans loved to hate in the original series. Keep scrolling for more details!
Reno Wilson (Bobby Watt)
Reno Wilson, who will portray a new character named Bobby Watt, recently shared a TikTok from the set of Dexter: Original Sin. In the video, taken by his co-star Alex Shimizu (who plays a young Masuka), we see Wilson happily dancing with two pizza boxes in hand between takes. Bobby Watt is a Detective at Miami Metro and a long-time friend and colleague of Harry Morgan.
Christina Milian (Maria LaGuerta)
Christina Milian, portraying a younger Maria LaGuerta, shared a mirror selfie from her trailer in Los Angeles. The image shows Milian sporting a retro LaGuerta hairstyle. Although she's dressed in non-Miami Metro attire, it's because she's preparing for an off-duty scene.
Milian also expressed her gratitude towards the Dexter: Original Sin cast for the warm welcome she received after joining the production two weeks ago.
Molly Brown (Deb Morgan)
Molly Brown, who plays the 17-year-old version of Dexter's foul-mouthed sister, shared an image from what appears to be an office. On the desk, there’s a folder with the unofficial Dexter: Original Sin logo, likely containing the scripts for all season one episodes. A 'Have a Killer Day' mug, popular merchandise from the sixth season of the original series, is also visible.
Brown also posted a photo taken the day after the Dexter: Original Sin panel at Comic-Con 2024, featuring fans at a photo-op. Attendees had the chance to lie on Dexter's infamous kill table, get wrapped in plastic, and snap a memorable picture!
