Homeland Posts Series High Ratings With 2.07 Million Viewers At 10 PM
The one-two punch of the seventh season of Dexter® and second season of Homeland continue to deliver impressive ratings for SHOWTIME, as the network marked the first time ever that two of its series have garnered over two million viewers each in one night.
Dexter's fifth episode attracted 2.28 million viewers at 9 p.m., its highest-rated episode since the season premiere (vs. 2.40 million) and up 5 percent vs. its prior week, despite facing tough competition on broadcast and cable, including Sunday Night Football and the final World Series game. For the night, the series delivered 2.81 million viewers, the biggest total night since the season premiere (2.93 million).
Homeland episode 5 delivered 2.07 million viewers at 10 p.m., up +19 percent vs. last week, drawing its biggest audience ever. The total night delivered 2.29 million viewers, its highest-rated night of the series.
