First Look at Patrick Gibson as Young Dexter Morgan From the Dexter: Original Sin Set In Miami!

Hello, twenty-year-old Dexter Morgan!

Are you ready to get your first glimpse of Patrick Gibson as a 20-year-old Dexter Morgan? Well, you came to the right place!

Last Wednesday, on the first day of shooting Dexter: Original Sin in Miami, two local Instagram accounts named 'Miami Famous' and 'Always In Florida' captured footage of the filming at Haulover Inlet, in Miami-Dade County.

The video was taken from afar, and considering that it was zoomed in and the video quality was compressed by Instagram, the footage is blurry.

A reminder that the show will be set in 1991 Miami (thus featuring a late 1980s/early 1990s old-school look) and will follow Dexter (played by Gibson) as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcement's radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.

We finally have our first sneak peek at the new Dexter Morgan! Scroll down to view the set photos from June 5, 2024!

Patrick is wearing light blue jeans with a leather belt, blue shoes, and a crimson and white shirt. We can't be sure if he's wearing a wig or if it's his real hair!

There are "Miami Hurricanes" and "US Coast Guard" tents around them. It’s not clear what’s happening, but perhaps it’s some kind of recruitment or career fair at Dexter's college?
