Ahhh, memories!
Executive producer and writer of Dexter: New Blood Scott Reynolds found something really nostalgic and cool while cleaning up his garage: The script from the very first episode of the franchise titled "Dexter".

The pilot of the original series premiered on October 1st, 2006 but the actual episode was filmed a year earlier, in fall of 2005. As you can see in the pic below, blue, pink, yellow and green revisions for the cast and crew of "Dexter" took place on September 13-21 2005, just days before they started shooting the episode.
Almost 17 years ago. Dang!
