Child Actor Carter Meehan Appeared In The Latest Dexter: New Blood Trailer - Is He Playing Harrison In Flashbacks?

Who's that kid from the full Dexter: New Blood trailer?

The official Dexter: New Blood that dropped a couple of weeks ago, gave us a glimpse at many new characters, including David Magidoff who plays Teddy, Michael Cyril Creighton as Fred Jr. and of course a first look at teenage Harrison Morgan portrayed by Jack Alcott. There's one big question though: Who's that blonde kid that was briefly shown during the latest trailer? Well, we have an answer and a theory!

 

His name's Carter Meehan, he's a 'mini model' from Massachusetts, and he suspiciously looks a lot like Harrison Morgan from Dexter's eighth season (portrayed by Jadon Wells).

Is he playing 6 year-old Harrison in Dexter: New Blood flashbacks?

Carter Meehan's  parents posted the photo above on Instagram back in May 15 from his trailer, between Dexter: New Blood takes. 

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jack Alcott revealed that "Harrison has had a really rough time for the past 8 years. It's not been great. He learns that his dad is not dead and goes to find him". Showrunner Clyde Phillips recently emphasized that Dexter's estranged son now all grown up, has his own demons to fight. 

It would be really interesting to see what happened to him during all these years away from his own father. Harrison-related flashbacks would be answering lots of questions, on what happened in Argentina right after the 2013 series finale, Hannah's fate, and will definitely help the audience understand teenage Harrison's behavior in the new season.

Warning! This is just speculation. We're not 100% sure if Carter Meehan actually portrays a younger version of Dexter's son. Considering his resemblance to Harrison Morgan of the original series, it is highly likely.
