POLL: How Will Arthur Mitchell aka The Trinity Killer Return In Season 9?

One of the best villains in Dexter's history returns. But, how?

Last Monday, Deadline reported that John Lithgow will reprise his role as the Trinity Killer in the upcoming revival of Dexter. It's been 12 years since the last time Lithgow portrayed Arthur Mitchell's role aka Dexter Morgan's most badass adversary.

The big question is how he will come back. It's not clear how the character will resurface, but according to Deadline, showrunner Clyde Phillips has found pathway for him to return that works within the larger narrative of the show. John Lithgow will shoot his new Trinity scenes in Los Angeles and not in Massachusetts where the whole season 9 cast is currently filming.
