John Lithgow Scores Emmy Nomination For HBO's 'Perry Mason'

Dexter Season 4 special guest John Lithgow just got an Emmy nomination!

Nominations for the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday, and John Lithgow earned a nomination for his role as Elias Birchard 'E.B.' Jonathan, a struggling attorney and a semi-regular employer of private investigator, Perry Mason. This year’s ceremony will be held on Sunday, Sept. 19 at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.

Lithgow was the only actor in the history of 'Dexter' that won an Emmy (2010 in the Outstanding Guest Actor In A Drama Series category). Back in late June it was announced that he will reprise his role as the Trinity Killer in the upcoming season of Dexter.
