Sunday, June 30, 2013 was 'A Beautiful Day' for Dexter fans. After almost seven months of waiting, the show returned to Showtime for its final season. Expectations were high for the new episodes considering the strong season seven finale, were Maria LaGuerta was killed by Deb in a shipping container.

Fans seemed to love the first episode of Season 8 as you can see in this DexterDaily poll from eight years ago. Unfortunately, things quickly changed as the story progressed, leading to a series finale that fans still keep trying to forget. The show is back this fall, and the writers will make things right!
