Zap2it: As you begin your run on "Dexter" this week, how much can you reveal about your new character, Hannah?
Yvonne Strahovski: I guess the one thing I can say is that it's completely different from what most people know me from, which is "Chuck," playing someone who's a member of law enforcement. I'm not just a "regular girl" here, which you find out fairly quickly.
Zap2it: Is any certain skill that you learned for "Chuck" proving helpful here?
Yvonne Strahovski: Not other than just the general experience of doing television for five years. That was the first big show I did here in the States, so I certainly learned a lot from it, even the most basic things about appearing on camera. I had only worked for three years in Australia prior to starting "Chuck," so I guess I'm an old pro now! You learn something new every time.
Zap2it: Your new role keeps you in close proximity to Dexter himself, so how was it to work with Michael C. Hall?
Yvonne Strahovski: He's such a giving actor ... extremely generous, a real actor's actor. He's so easy to work with, and it's really nice to have that. He's super-talented, as is everyone who works on the show, so I feel really blessed.
Zap2it: Did you see much of "Dexter" while you were making "Chuck"?
Yvonne Strahovski: I watched all six seasons back to back over three weeks. I had seen bits and pieces, but I'd never seen it consecutively. I really wanted to get the history of it.
