Today Peter Weller turns 65! He was born on June 24, 1947 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. On Dexter he played the role of Stan Liddy in 8 episodes of Season 5. Happy B-Day!
They should have made better use of Liddy. He didn't deserve the poor treatment he received, he could have been more developed and used on later seasons as well.
If you have a conversation with Quinn about Dexter being a stupid name, you will be dead by the end of the season. True for Liddy, and true for Christine.
He was awesome.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday!
One of the few bright moments of season 5 along with boyd fowler(shawn hatosy). cheers, weller!
ReplyDeleteI hated his character, which I guess means he is a great actor!
ReplyDeleteThat's how you make a recurring role, probably my favorite after Trinity and Lundy. It is called a recurring role right? Riiight? Oh god..
ReplyDelete<3 hahaha

ReplyDeleteMaybe he can come back as Robocop? Him and Doakes.
DeleteRight after the Morgans dump Travis' corpse they'll ambush them. Surprise, motherfuckers.
DeleteCan't wait!
DeleteHappy Birthday Peter Weller! Loved you on Dexter. Could have done with more Liddy, definitely. :)
ReplyDeleteHe was a typical Dexter bad guy: Not realising who he was messing with.
ReplyDelete"Her name is Lumen Ann Pierce, Lumeeennnn, stupid f***ing name!" :)
