Exec. producer Manny Coto, after 2 days of wait, he responded to our e-mail. He revealed that in the season 7 premiere of Dexter, a regular character is going to die.
Manny Coto: "You asked me and here's the answer. In the first episode of the upcoming season of Showtime's hit series 'Dexter', we have to say goodbye to a regular character. And it will be very unpleasant. I'm not allowed to say something more. :-)"

Who do you think will die in the season 7 premiere? Tell us your thoughts, in the comment section!
Hmmm the way they ended s7 you would think deb.... but im gunna say angel or quinn, please quin or even laqerta (sorry about spelling)
ReplyDeleteLaGuerta, haha
DeleteΙ am sure it will not be either Dexter or Deb. And I hope it will not be Angel. I don't mind if it's Laguerta or even Quinn!
ReplyDeleteOMG I think it's Deb.
ReplyDeleteHappy April fools day!
ReplyDeletedidnt think of that lol
DeletePlease tell me it is not Quinn!
ReplyDeleteI think he will be forced to kill Deb... :(
ReplyDeleteAfter last season's finale, that's the first thing that comes up at my mind... :'( really liked her
BTW:
I W-A-N-T L-U-M-E-N B-A-C-K
PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ
1. He won't kill her. At least not purposely.
Delete2. Me too :-)
He won't kill her...1. she's his sister 2. In the books she's known about his hobby for a while...
Deleteaxx
ReplyDeletedo you honestly think dex would kill deb. did anyone think that Masukas ex intern Louis kills him to get his job? maria and quinn i could care less about. but i dont see it being deb, too much is riding on that character
ReplyDeleteExactly! That is what I am trying to say. Now that you mention long lost Louis. :D I think that he might get in Dexter's way and Dexter has to put him down once and for all. However, I don't think he is a regular character. Hmmm....
DeleteHe killed his own brother??? Yes, his brother was trying to kill him, but he wouldnt have had Dexter conformed to his brothers ideas. I wouldnt rule Deb out. I have a problem seeing how this will go on for two more years with Deb knowing.
DeleteBut let's examine that further: who did Dexter kill his brother for? Deb. I think he'd rather go to jail than hurt her as he cares about her as much as he does for Harrison, if not more.
DeleteWell put 8:28
DeleteBlows me away that people.
A: Still don't understand this show.
B: Fell for this obvious April Fools
I don't think it would be Deb. I don't know though, Deb just sounds like a huge fault to kill. I mean Deb is Dexter's sister for crying out loud!
ReplyDeleteAPRIL FRICKING FOOLS DAY! WAY TO SCARE ME! LOL
ReplyDeleteIf its Deb i am gonna kill myself she is the best character in the series after Dexter , If she dies the show will die too :(
ReplyDeleteLouis is not a "major" character yet. I am going to say Laguarta or Quinn. Makes the most sense or are we being fooled because it is April's Fools day......hmmmm
ReplyDeleteI don't think that it would be Deb cause all the excite in the show would go away
ReplyDeleteI hate this day.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but like the old saying goes, two can keep a secret as long as one of them is dead.
ReplyDeletePoor Deb! My money says she is killed by LaGuerta because she figures out that it was her that tried to frame the other captain.
Then Dex is really gonna get pissed!
.... Phew! Happy April fools day!
ReplyDeleteIts a APRIL'S FOOLS JOKE.
ReplyDeleteApril's Fools :)!
ReplyDeleteIt would actually be very entertaining if this isn't an April Fools joke and it's just an unfortunate coincidence. In any case, as it were, it would likely be Quinn or LaGuerta. And it would certainly give off a very 'Double Dexter' vibe if it did. A cop killer might be something interesting. I would've liked another 'killer with a code', though, or maybe no killer at all...
ReplyDeleteIf it was real, they could have posted it tomorrow, then it would be more convincing :P
DeleteWow, I totally forgot that its April fool's day :P ...they got me!
ReplyDeleteI hope Quinn Die, not Deb, please not Deb :(
ReplyDeleteThe email response is dated March 31. I still believe that this a damn cruel April Fools Day joke, but you have to consider the email date. This day is the worst!
ReplyDeleteJohn, you are one evil bastard for posting this on April Fools Day.
ReplyDeleteThey did this past year and posted Debra was leaving. If it still stands tomorrow, you wil have my attention.
ReplyDeleteIt must be Quinn. He was a bad worker last season, maybe the creators are going to kill him off. He's not a permanent character. He started in Season 3.
ReplyDeleteOuinn will die , Actually I WANT LaGuerta dead
ReplyDeleteanyone else notice the email was received on march 31? not april first???
ReplyDeleteBut there's such a cult of secrecy surrounding Dexter that I wouldn't expect Manny Coto to just drop that on us. Usually the writers are much more vague and use terms like 'different dynamics' and 'this season will be darker', not 'yeah, some dude goes kersplat, can't tell you who, though, cheerio!'. That leads me to believe this is but an April Fools joke. Although I do expect someone WILL die next season, though I doubt the first episode.
ReplyDeleteplz don't let deb die. but i really want Rita back !
ReplyDeleteWow, can't wait!
ReplyDeleteLaGuerta!!! Get rid of her!!
ReplyDeleteim not so sure whats up with louis...and the ITK hand he mailed to Dex...he was outlining the lines on the palm...theres some underlying message there i just cant get...Masuka doesnt sound to far fetched but hes what gives the show that comedic spark...killing him off would be pointless...im sure a major character will be killed off, but not first episode...also i feel like debs initial reaction when she sees dex killing DDK is "wtf bro?" she will not automatically assume hes a serial killer...maybe hell tell her, maybe he never will and will use some type of excuse to justify his killing...who knows, ill leave it up to the writers
ReplyDeletehere u go: when he is drawing the line, it shows him drawing the "line of fate" merging into the "line of life".. This could mean Louis has some big plans for Dexter in the upcoming seasons. (Palm reading graphic url is below) Please rewatch EPISODE 11 at 31:45 they start to show Louis drawing on the hand. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

i did do my research about palm readings after that episode aired...maybe your right, i dont think hes goning to be a "Bad" next season but maybe a protege of some sort...but not like a miguel prado or lumen...the one line fate, maybe means that fate brought louis to Dex (or visa versa)? theres so many things to go off on that...im sure hell be a character that develops dex character...i guess well just have to wait and see...the writers always throw some type of curveball...like the final episode of last season, this blog said brother sam would return and he clearly wasnt in the episode...so ill just sit patient and wait till SEpt
DeleteDexter won't kill Debra. Jennifer Carpenter told DigitalSpy that she will film S7 and S8 :
ReplyDeleteDexter star Jennifer Carpenter has revealed that she only plans to film eight seasons.
The serial killer drama has been picked up for a seventh and eighth run by Showtime, with network president David Nevins suggesting that the show could continue beyond that point.
However, Carpenter - who plays Debra Morgan - told Digital Spy: "I think I'm gonna do eight."
"You never know, but my hope is that people are like, 'God, I wish Dexter was still on' or 'God, I wish it had gone on for one more year'."
The actress added that Dexter - which stars Michael C Hall as the eponymous killer - has been a "game-changing" series.
"I just don't think that we want to overstay our welcome," she explained.
Dexter could never ever kill Deb, that's like the most basic rule of the whole show... Whatever way you want to see it, she has always been the closest person he has, someone he trusts the most, someone who is always there for him a who he would never harm any way, nor kill..
DeleteWhy would it be Deb??? They're supposed to be exploring their new 'relationship,' right (!)
ReplyDelete::evil laugh::
I pray it's La Guerta. I hope Dexter does it, too!
She's got her hands in hot water before so I hope she has something else in her past coming up to bite her in the ass.
About that young, hot, insane intern who has that hand in his home, encased.....
oh my good lord, if he is killed off the show, can he be sent to me? ;)
Everyone's saying it wouldn't be deb..but come on. Who expected RITA to die either? They've showed they will get rid of a root character for awe. I have to admit, It's done in a clever way
ReplyDeleteYes, but Rita had a ton of development done on her and one could argue that she was becoming a useless character who didn't do much other than watch Harrison. Deb, on the other hand, now that she's both found out that she is in love with Dexter and that he is a violent serial killer--killing her off would be a cop out, not for awe.
DeleteBesides, this was an April Fools' joke, anyways. If anyone's going to die, it'll probably be Quinn and it'll be a few episodes in. Though, I think they might keep Quinn around for when he does find out Deb and Dex are doing the horizontal mambo. Maybe jealousy sparks an investigation? Long shot, I know.
Or how about Masuka finds out about who has the arm and gets killed over it...
ReplyDeleteThat was just an April Fool's joke, man :)
Deleteit was posted on march 31 on april 1 if u look at it again
ReplyDeleteIf memory serves me correctly Batista walked into the cathedral with Deb. It may be Batista just because he will be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Who knows, maybe Deb kills him because he sees what Dexter is doing and she will do anything for her brother........ Just a thot!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but you're just not right...
Deletea) AGAIN, this was just an April Fool's joke, people!
b) Batista didn't go to the church with Deb... Remember why she went there in the first place - to tell Dexter how she feels about him. Do you really think that she would want to say something like that if she thought there might be someone else listening?
You might want to re-watch the episode :) But don't worry, this happens to all of us sometimes...
