Tonight's The Night | 6.07 "Nebraska"

Tonight on an all-new episode of Dexter, Dex finds himself teamed up with a fellow Dark Passenger when he takes a road trip to Nebraska to tie up some loose ends from the past; Debra deals with the complications of her promotion as she leads the Doomsday investigation.

Who's excited for tonight?

  1. If Jonah did in fact kill his mother and sister, I think Dexter will realize if he keeps on the path he's currently on, with Brian, that he will have to get himself under control to lower the risk of Harrison following in his footsteps, how Jonah followed in Arthur's. Harrison really is Dexter's only chance to keep his darkness from completely overtaking him. Though, I think a great way to end the show, would be if Dexter were to become the villain. That would make for an incredible final season. I'm not really sure that can happen, though, because of the things that Dexter has gone through. All of the problems he has had over the seasons, I'm not sure what it would take for Dexter to lose control of himself and abandon the code. I just don't think that could happen, but it is interesting to think about what Dexter would be like, killing with no code. That direction would definitely cause controversy across the entire spectrum of fans. Since we are so invested in the character, we would still be rooting for him. At the same time, I think we would be rooting for Debra to stop Dexter from killing anymore innocent people. Dexter dies by Debra's hands. Debra really is the only one I could see ending Dexter's life.

  2. I think this season needs more of an emphasis on Harrison. Is he going to be the death of Dexter or his saving grace...

  3. I've noticed that Lisa Marshall (Travis' sister) teaches at a school that looks very much like the school Harrison goes to during the day. It could be a coincidence, but when she had her young students outside painting, it looked like the playground we've seen Harrison playing on during the premiere. I don't know that for sure, though.
