    They made the ad look like Deb is going to die, or Dexter and Deb are about to make out, and I know neither of those things are going to happen.

    Oh no man, everyone saw that. I can't even freaking believe they were so open about it. I always thought this was going to stay subtext but THAT my friend was intentional flirtation with the audience by the writers, whether they kiss or not, that was "a moment". Craziness, and totally freaking awesome. My wife started laughing hysterically.

    But hey, this guy has murdered like a hundred people and cut them up into fish food. I think kissing your foster sister is probably like drinking a beer after you just shot heroine.

    The last clip in that trailer made it look as though Travis picked up Batista's gun and was about to shoot him but judging from how these trailers show scenes, that's probably not what happened since it shows Quinn bursting into a room on fire with Batista tied to a bed. What do you guys think will happen there? And whose hand/blood is on the glass window in the MM homicide interrogation room? Probably that crazy dude's wife holding the "wormwood"since I saw a wedding band on her finger. Shit just got real...

    It sure looks like her. Who here is an expert in examining stills?

    Do you suppose that Dexter whacked Matthews and Maria to protect Deb? Is that the crime scene that's going to shake up Deb and make her realize Dexter is...

    I cant beleive they have a bomb in the police station, Dexter going all crazy and making kills look like the devil to lure Travis and some freaky shit with incest. Im not sure if thats too over the top or not

    Not incest. Having "feelings" does not constitute incest. Incest is sexual intercourse between people of common ancestry.


    Debra and Dexter have not had sexual intercourse, are not likely to, and they are not of common ancestry.

    By law, some countries do not allow marriages between foster brothers and sisters, but in most countries, and many states here in the U.S. - children who were foster siblings may apply for marriage licensees.

    As far as over the top? I think it's safe to say that the first time we ever saw Dexter in his kill room with 3 cubic tons of plastic wrap, this show went over the top. ;) That's what's so freaking great about it. The entire thing is just absurd.

    It's horror/thriller pulp fiction, not a serious drama.

    If you are looking for a violent show about killers that's a bit closer to the real world, I suggest The Sopranos.

    i think that the bold suggestion is for dexter to kiss deb to see if there are any feelings involved there......a kiss seems very likely from their body language in that shot.....but who knows....maybe he's leaning in to say, "Hey, I'm a serial killer..." LOL

    GUYS... The scene with Dex leaning into Deb is clearly a scene of imagination for Debra!!! after her psy told her about her Weird relationship with DEX... Debra start to imagine things! thus the scene!

    Yea, that was my take on it. They are not going to rush into this, writers like to let these plots play out for awhile. They'll tease us with longing looks for at least a year. It will be "Deb's secret, forbidden love." and it will probably go unrequited because Dexter just isn't in touch with his feelings.

    That being said, after all the silly outrage over this. I kinda want them to get together just to piss the "Eeeeew gross!" people off.

    It's going to be nothing, they are not gonna kiss! The scene won't even be all that...they cut these previews to entice....and looks like they did!
