'Fathers and Sons'
"You can't do a show about Dexter without including the theme of fathers and sons" Showrunner Clyde Phillips said following Showtime's announcement that Jack Alcott is going to play teenage Harrison. "You can't bring back Dexter without bring back his son." he added. Executive Producer and writer Scott Reynolds said that "the sins of the father" meant there was a lot to explore in the new season.
