Charlotte Rampling Is Announced as the Face of NARS' 20th Anniversary Campaign

Dexter alumna Charlotte Rampling has another project in the works: She’s the new face of Nars, which is gearing up for its 20th anniversary in September. According to brand executives, Rampling will appear in a “black-and-white portrait-style image” shot by founder and creative director François Nars.

Rampling was chosen, in part, because she has been one of Nars’ muses. “She is a natural beauty that feels strong, yet relatable,” Nars told WWD. “Charlotte’s ability of transformation is unparalleled. Whether captured in pieces of artwork, through the lens of a magazine photographer or on film and the big screen, she had an amazing power to encompass a character.”

Nars went on to say Rampling’s “strength of character” and artistic talents make her a perfect fit for the brand. “I remember Dirk Bogarde referencing Charlotte’s ‘fabled look’ because of the combination of her beauty and withering gaze,” he said. “This is what makes her an endlessly watchable mystery.”

POLL: Which Was Your Favorite Penultimate Episode of a Season?

Vote for your favorite eleventh episode of a Dexter season, below!

Season 1 Episode 11: The Ice Truck Killer strikes again, leaving a real nightmare before Christmas at Santa's Cottage. But this time, Dexter notices that the kill is not as 'tidy' as the previous kills, as if the Ice Truck Killer is rushing to leave Miami. But in reality, the Ice Truck Killer has kidnapped someone very close to Dexter to lure him into a trap that will change Dexter's life forever. Meanwhile, Sgt. Doakes notices that Dexter has been acting strangely around the Homicide division, making him wonder if in fact, Dexter is the Ice Truck Killer.

Season 2 Episode 11: As Lundy's noose starts to tighten, Dexter finds himself dodging bullets both figurative and real. Dexter now must decide about not only his own fate but those of the people he cares most about. Lila attempts to blackmail Dexter into loving her and then makes a startling discovery that changes their relationship forever.

Season 3 Episode 11: While preparing for his big wedding day, Dexter has to figure out a way to remove Miguel from his life for good. But how does Dexter manage to do this when Miguel is not only a highly placed D.A., but also his Best Man? Rita has troubles of her own, when Syl reveals that Miguel has been seeing one of his old flames. Meanwhile, Debra finds a new clue that brings her even closer to catching the Skinner.

Season 4 Episode 11: Dexter's worst fears have been realized. Because of Debra's unrelenting pursuit, Miami Metro is just one step away from discovering the identity of the Trinity Killer. And Dexter can't let that happen. Arthur's arrest would not only deprive Dexter of a satisfying kill, it would also expose the secret life Dexter's been leading in his pursuit of this monster. Dexter must take drastic action to buy himself time to deal with Trinity in his own fashion. Meanwhile, Rita decides to confide in Dexter, which doesn't go as well as she'd hoped. LaGuerta and Batista's breach of ethics paints them into a very tight corner. And Arthur, who still can't understand why Dexter didn't simply turn him in, begins his own bloody investigation into Kyle Butler.

Season 5 Episode 11: Dexter and Lumen are trying to figure out how to get Jordan Chase but he catches on to the fact they have been under video surveillance. He manages to trace the equipment back to Joey Quinn, not realizing that Stan Liddy is behind it all. He and Lumen burglarize Quinn's apartment and find some of the photos of them at the marina. Dexter learns soon enough just who is behind it. Debra meanwhile has pretty well figured out the case and tells her colleagues about her vigilante theory: that the killer is probably the 13th victim who escaped and that she is likely being helped by a man. Lt. Laguerta is dubious however. Jordan Chase has conveniently planned to go to Europe on a speaking tour but not before he lays a trap for Dexter and Lumen.

Season 6 Episode 11: Dexter finds that in order to catch the Doomsday Killers, he must create a macabre tableau of his own; Debra's battle with LaGuerta over the case of the dead call girl boils over, and her therapist makes an unnerving suggestion.

Season 7 Episode 11: As Christmas approaches, Dexter tries to balance his life with Hannah and his relationship with Debra. Debra follows up on a potentially incriminating tip. Dexter learns that the man responsible for ordering his mother's death has been released from jail.

Season 8 Episode 11: Dexter is torn between fleeing the country with Hannah and Harrison or taking Saxon out for good. Dexter's inaction results in a grisly and unexpected consequence.

Vote now, for your favorite tenth episode of a Dexter season!

Season 1 Episode 10: Dexter's world is shaken when he is called to the crime scene of a massacre unlike any that he's ever seen before... or so he thinks, until a series of memories comes streaming back that shock him to his core. Meanwhile, Rita has to hire a lawyer when Paul brings a surprising case against her to take sole custody of their children. Batista follows a new lead on the Ice Truck Killer case that brings him one step closer to apprehending the sadistic serial killer. But does it bring him too close?

Season 2 Episode 10: Dexter finds himself with the upper hand when Doakes tracks him to his latest kill. But when Doakes reveals a secret about Harry's past, Dexter's world comes crumbling down. Meanwhile, Rita starts letting Dexter back into her life, and the Miami Metro PD starts closing in on the Bay Harbor Butcher.

Season 3 Episode 10: Dexter feels like he's making a deal with the devil when he feigns civility around Miguel after his duplicitous ways. Dexter finds himself in a series of chess-like moves against his former friend, all while hoping that Miguel doesn't get the upper hand on him. Meanwhile, Dexter watches helplessly as Miguel draws Rita closer through a wonderful wedding gift. Debra, now back with Anton after his close call with the Skinner, wonders if her relationship with Anton is worth putting her career in jeopardy. After all, is it smart for everyone to know that she is dating a former confidential informant?

Season 4 Episode 10: Dexter finally believes he understands the beast known as Trinity. But when a ten-year old boy goes missing, Dexter is forced to question everything he's learned up to this point. It's a race against the clock. And with each step forward, Dexter has to confront the real possibility that he may have more in common with Trinity than he'd like to admit. Secrets abound — from Cody, who is forced to defend one of Dexter's lies, Masuka, who can't bring himself to confess what he witnessed at Thanksgiving, and Debra, whose recent discoveries force one of Miami's finest into making an impossible decision.

Season 5 Episode 10: Lt. Laguerta has decided to re-open the barrel girls murder case and assigns a reinstated Debra Morgan and Quinn to arrest Cole Harmon. Of course, they don't know that Dexter has already taken care of things. They do find that the men made videos of their attacks. Debra begins putting the pieces together and concludes there is a vigilante killer getting rid of the men who attacked and killed the women. From the blood in the small vial Jordan Chase wears around his neck, Dexter is able to track it to Emily Birch who, to his surprise, is still alive. She's not very cooperative however until Lumen visits her on her own. Emily identifies the fifth man as Alex Tilden and Dexter and Lumen make plans to eliminate him. They don't realize that someone has been watching them.

Season 6 Episode 10: Dexter tries to figure out the Doomsday Killers' next victim before it's too late; Debra has a strong reaction to a crime scene, which leads her to the realization that she leans too heavily on her brother.

Season 7 Episode 10: A surprise visit from Hannah's father puts Dexter on alert and the Phantom Arsonist's crimes become more gruesome. Defending Nadia's honor forces Quinn into a dangerous situation and LaGuerta brings in Matthews to help her with the Bay Harbor Butcher case.

Season 8 Episode 10: With Dr. Vogel's help, Dexter tries to lure the Brain Surgeon into a trap so he can get him on his table. Dexter witnesses a murder.
