ReplyDeleteI picked other. How do we know Louis isn't someone with a dark passenger himself that needs to be taught a code. Kind of like how the books have Dexter teaching Cody and Astor the code, how do we know this will not end up with Dexter teaching Louis the code as Louis is seeking help from Dex?

ReplyDeleteI think he is in the process of moving from 'disturbing serial killer junkie' to something a bit more sinister which will probably end up with him as the antagonist in S7.

ReplyDeleteWhat's Zach Levi up to next year? "Chuck" is over and I bet he'd be happy to sink his teeth into a big bad after playing such a nice guy for 5 years. Now THERE would be a scary opponent for Dexter. Levi is like 6'4,even taller than John Lithgow, he'd tower over MCH, and you know how those "funny guy" actors are when they get to sink their teeth into a bad guy for the first time.
If he's related to ITK, wouldn't he want to kill Dex for revenge? I think he's juz Dex's fangirl. He knows Dex a serial killer & wants to know more of Dex's dark work line dat relates to ITK(Dex's bro) & Trinity(Dex's teacher or Dex's family). He really wants to impress Dex but end up disappoint him so he was mad at himself & almost cry when Dex said "Do sumting else". Mayb 1day he manage to convince Dex dat he can trust him & let him be his assistant and teach him Harry's Code.

ReplyDeleteI don't know why every message board/fan site is obsessed with Zach Levi, but I'm totally for him being on the show! It would satisfy my "Dexter" and "Tangled" obsessions simultaneously.

ReplyDeleteI think the obsession is that everyone can see he has the inherent charisma and innate talent to be the next "Tom Hanks". It is in him.
Unfortunately he seems easily distracted, caught up in the party scene with his buddies, and running nerd websites, and is not honing his craft and improving as an actor. He takes scenes off and seems often unfocused. Which is why he may not become the next Hanks despite his vast talent. You don't really have time to "enjoy" your fame if you want to take it to the next level as an actor.
The reason why people like Hanks and Clooney were able to make those jumps, is that they were absolutely "driven" to improve and did not rely on just their charm or charisma.
Levi is still young though. If he can find himself a Rita Wilson (or just forgo the family like Clooney) , settle in, and get focused on his acting, then the sky is the limit for him.
It would be cool to see him on Dexter though, because of the C.S. Lee link.
