  5. I wasn't expecting Deb to find out until Season 7. All the interviews I read with producers/actors made it seem like they hadn't written that story line yet and I'm glad we didn't just get a neatly wrapped up ending. As far as season finales go, this one is second only to Rita's murder in my mind.

Between Louis and the hand and Deb knowing her brother is a killer...I have high hopes for next season.

  6. This year's ending was epic. Even though anyone who had seen the promotional photos could easily reach a conclusion even without seeing the episode. But what if Dexter really injected himself, and he 's having a dream, while Harrison has been killed? This way they could have both a killing season finale and a killing season opening. Dexter could have a water injection, but was he able to think that in these moments? We saw Laguerta being sweet to Deb. Could it be that this bitch became suddenly a good person? Or is it just to Dexter's dreams?

  7. The ending was the icing on the cake(Sweet and AWESOME!)for a great season! Deb and Dex facial expressions were priceless. I put this ending up there with S4s cliffhanger! This finale changes everything in the world of Dexter.
I also enjoyed the scenes where Deb is freaking out when Dex is standing near her or brushes up next to her, it was awkward but funny. My only complaint with the finale is, wish they would of made it 90mins long! Lol I'm hoping that the S7 premier will be 90mins!

  9. @neatmonster: I was saying that the other night, how come Homeland gets a 90 minute finale but not Dexter!

In meantime I also thought it was a good ending to the season. It makes me wonder if Deb still loves her brother in the way she does or if the image of her brother being perfect in everyway has been shattered. I am not saying that she does not love her brother still but maybe her love for him is in a different light now that she is aware that Dexter is a killer.

    My favorite lines:

    Dexter: Is that my shirt?

    Dexter: I am a father....a son......a serial killer! (<----so badass)

I cannot wait for season seven

  11. Hubby & I LOVED the ending!! We both said "Oh my God. When does the next season start?!"

I HATE, HATE, HATE the 'Debra is in love with Dexter' storyline. Please drop it!

I like the way Dexter is so soft, gentle, loving, & funny with Harrison & Debra. Shows his humanity & is a great antidote to the murderous side of him.

  12. My only disappointment was that the episode wasn't longer! It seemed to fly by! I suspected she may show up but not that early!
Congratulations to the writers & actors on another great season! Bring on the next! Michael you are amazing!
