C.S. Lee: Debra & Masuka Would Be One of the Most Shocking Couples in History
Via tvdonewright.com. The showtime hit series dexter is entering its 6th season this fall. Michael C. Hall stars as dexter morgan, everyone’s favorite blood-splatter analysis / serial-killing. When Dexter isn’t feeding his ‘dark passenger’, he works alongside Vince Masuka. CS Lee plays masuka, who has become a fan-favorite thanks to his filthy humor and hilarious one-liners. Before the season stars, tvdonewright had a chance to talk to CS about what’s coming up for Masuka in season 6. Here’s what he had to say.
Adam: You are currently working on the sixth season of dexter. Doing this for the past 6 seasons, does the shooting get easier?
CS: It does get easier. the cast knows each other better and the crew is in snyc with us. We try to have more fun now i think.
Adam: Dexter of course is a massive hit with fans and critics. Tell me about being apart of it all. You must get recognized all the time out in public.
CS: I do get recognized and it’s nice to meet fans and hear what they have to say about my character and the show. And no, I am not as raunchy as my character. but i will tell you it’s fun to play a pervert on t.v. Click the link below to read the full interview!

Dexter Season 6 - Casting News - Jordana Spiro joins cast
It was just announced by TVLine that actress Jordana Spiro will appear in multiple episodes of Dexter's sixth season as an acolyte of Colin Hanks’ Travis and Edward James Olmos’ Professor Gellar.Given this cycle’s buzzy religious thing – and the fact that an acolyte is by definition, “a devoted follower or attendant who assists in the performance of liturgical rites” — it’s safe to assume these three are up to no good.

Michael C. Hall: "Maybe There Is Someone Who'll Suspect Dexter This Season"
Michael C. Hall recently spoke to Snakkle.com at a Television Critics Association gathering about the upcoming season of Showtime’s megahit. We found out that although Dexter will still be searching for justice with his Dark Passenger, the one thing he won’t be seeking is romance.
In the last two seasons, not only has Dexter lost his wife Rita in a horrific fashion, but then his soul mate Lumen picked up and left town. What kind of emotional turmoil will Dexter experience in season 6?
Michael C. Hall: Well, I think that in one way or another we can expect that some window into humanity will be opened in spite of what Dexter would prefer. But I think he’s unplugged from any conscious appetite for romantic connection at this point.

Julia Stiles: "Murder Scenes Were Surprisingly Enjoyable"
THP: How much did you know about Lumen or her story arc when you took the role?
Julia Stiles: I actually knew very little. I met with producer John Goldwyn, and he gave me the broad strokes about what the arc of the character would be. I did ask if I would end up killing anyone, and he said yes. At that point, I decided to do it. He told me that when you meet her for the first time, she's been victimized. I was more interested in how she would become more active. The revenge part of it is what intrigued me.

Interview with Dexter Author and Creator Jeff Lindsay
Dexter author and creator, Jeff Lindsay, talks about Dexter and more in the interview below...
Dexter, it seems to me, fits into a long and dishonourable line of especially villainous antiheroes, often sociopaths or without conscience, and yet still compelling or even sympathetic – the likes of Tom Ripley, Parker from the Richard Stark novels, Hannibal Lecter, even. Are these characters you're familiar with or think could be antecedents of Dexter? And what is it about such characters that readers find appealing? (And when I say "readers", I mostly mean me.)
JEFF LINDSAY: You're right, very prolix. People think I am being cute when I say this, but I don't know any of these characters, except Hannibal Lecter. Saw the movie, and then read the book. Everyone tells me there's a genre, but – I mean, really. Serial killer genre? What's wrong with people? I really don't know why Dexter is appealing – it surprised the hell out of me. Michael C. Hall Shares His Summer TV Viewing
Michael C. Hall: I'm watching "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" -- that's a great show. It's available on box set, I have one. The writing is perfect, it's perfectly structured, the characters ... it's great. In this day and age it's a borderline museum piece. As far as a show I just devour, it's "The Wire."

Julia Stiles: "I was very surprised that Dexter and Lumen broke up"
LA Times had a chance to interview Julia Stiles, who starred as Lumen in Dexter Season 5. The Emmy-nominated actress admitted that she didn't take Dexter and Lumen's break-up well, since she was expecting for their relationship to last longer.
So … Lumen breaking up with Dexter caught you off guard?
J.S.: I was very surprised. I thought everything we had been building toward over the course of the season -- the trust and connection between Lumen and Dexter -- was just thrown away. I had a hard time understanding that. Their vigilante justice was so romantic in a perverse way.

Michael C. Hall: "If and When Debra Find Out, It Will Be a Game-Changer"
Dexter returns in October and ign.com recently had the chance to speak to the show's star, Michael C. Hall, about the new season. Per usual with this show, Hall was doing his best to keep plot specifics a secret, but he spoke about the overall theme of Season 6, which involves Dexter examining religion, along with the presence of new actors like Edward James Olmos.
Having played this character for a few years, was it very interesting for you to see how they were approaching him this season, as they look at this spiritual aspect?
Hall: Yeah. They've taken him to places he's never imagined himself going - but even I never imagined him going to the place where he's being taken in the sixth season.

Michael C. Hall: "Cats Are Helping Me Recover From Marriage Split"
Michael C. Hall is recovering from his marriage split by spending time with his two cats.
The Dexter star, who broke up with his wife and co-star Jennifer Carpenter last year after almost two years of marriage, revealed he is happy to be single because it gives him more time to spend with his four-legged friends.
“Things are great. I’m loving life,” he said.
“I spend a lot of time with my cats. They’re both boys, they’re both very affectionate. Their names are Preacher and Ford. They’re my four-legged friends.”
Despite the pair — who haven’t given a reason for their split — insisting split is amicable, insiders on the set of Dexter revealed that they have been rowing for some time and have even spoken to fellow cast members about their marital problems.
Michael previously insisted his relationship with Jennifer didn’t affect their work on the show.
“We certainly pride ourselves in being professionals,” he said.
“We work on the same show but we’re not in every scene together. We don’t see each other on set as often as you’d think.”
