  1. He looks so old and tired in this piece? What is going on? I did not like this much.. But it does show how great he is as an actor, so easily switching charade

    1. Old and tired? Really? How interesting. I think he looks profoundly attractive. And real. His imperfections are perfect ;)

I love him with a beard. I love him without a beard. I love him when he's acting. I love him when he's not acting. I just love him. Sigh.

I really have to get over this. I mean, really? What is the point?!

On a serious note, how curious and spellbinding it is to see him slip into characters so far removed from his past roles. 'The Actor' is a delightfully enchanting creature. I wonder what the real man behind the charade is really like? I guess we'll never know. And that is how it should be.

Good video. Thanks for posting it.

    2. I was gonna joke around a little but then I remembered the scary NOTE. So I'll just say. Oh stop it you. :D

    3. The note is much less scary than some of the posts that were going around!

I was too afraid to dip my toe in the water! So am grateful for the calm. :)

On behave of us 40ish bearded guys... hey, cut us a break!

    4. Hey, it's anon 6.29 here...

Patrick, I can't stop. I'm beyond help. Even the white coats don't know what to do.

9.54 Personally, I love a 40ish man with a beard. It's very manly. And it feels good on my skin :)

Mr Hall looks arty/alternative, mature, and outright sexy with a beard. A ridiculously handsome, distinguished thespian. Damn truth. As I see it.

    5. Sorry, Patrik, I spelt your name wrong above. Tsk. That's really annoying. I so dislike it when people spell my name wrong.

  9. I love how he adds a little bit of dark comedy to his acting, this is why he deserves more Emmies than what he has won so far!

  10. Stop hating on the beard people. It looks very distinguished. He looks like a Lord. He's also so werewolf-ish. I'd like to see him play either of those things.

    1. Werewolf-ish! :D Yeah, I felt there was something interesting about his new look that I couldn't name and that's it - he now looks kinda like a werewolf, LOL
Btw thanks for the video. Really proves how great actor MCH is.

  11. Everything is ginger-bearded MCH and nothing hurts.

  12. I think MCH can pull off both looks, probably because he keeps his beard free of twigs and such. :-{D}

    2. Glad you guys like the video! It was a longer photo-shoot/interview of course, but as far as video goes I don't think Schatz has any plans to release any more of it.

Keep an eye out for Schatz's upcoming book though, it's possible some photos that didn't make the video will make it into that.
