Latest From TV Addict - Episode 6.11 "Talk to the Hand" Scoop

Latest from TV Addict. Click the link below to read more spoilers about tonight's penultimate episode of Dexter, 6.11 "Talk to the Hand"...

Is there any chance at all that Sunday’s DEXTER makes up for last week’s episode? — Dillon
If by “make up for,” you mean offer one of the most unexpected and uncomfortable plot twists in the series’ sordid history, than well yes, Sunday’s penultimate episode of the season is not to be missed. That said, having still not shaken of the after-affects of one of the most spine-tingling and stupefying scenes DEXTER has ever dared to deliver, we do feel it necessary to warn viewers that on a scale of “icky” to “grossest thing you can ever imagine,” Sunday’s episode is off the charts!

  2. Awesome. It sounds like they're actually going down the Deb/Dexter as a couple road..

I'm going to enjoy the moral outrage of people who have had no problem sympathising with the character of a mass serial murderer up until the point he takes it too far by getting with his "sister" that he's not related to.

  3. I'll be so disappointed if the Deb/Dex thing turns out to actually be true

  4. I don't have any problem with the Deb/Dexter thing. Actually, they have been hinting at it for some time. And they're not related, they just grewp up together.

  5. Anyone who is okay with this has never had a sibling. And just because you're not blood doesn't make it any less wrong - you still grow up calling eachother poop-head and trying to stick your boogers on them, and you still help pick them up when they've skidded and scraped their knees, and you still take care of them when they've been dumped for the first time by some jerk.

    They're still siblings.

  6. Why people have the opinion (all of the sudden) that the series can only have stories that are not "wrong"....What about what Dexter does.Is this right or what?JESUS!

  7. It's a TV show, where the main character is a serial killer and you still root for him every week. So what he's probably gonna hook up with his foster sister? Take a chill pill and enjoy the ride.

It would be weird, and depending on your viewpoint possibly immoral, but we have accepted our protagonist dismembers people, withholds evidence which puts people who know him at risk, kills innocent people to avoid capture.... so I think we can stretch the boundaries of normal social behaviour to having him fall in love with his adoptive sister, which does happen in real life by the way.

  9. Anyone know where to stream the show live?

  10. Ok seriously? :/ I really hope they don't go there with Deb/Dex. Yeah they're 'not blood' and all that, but still. I think it's not the way to go in the series. Brother's and sister#s should be close - but really... not that close. If they do go there, the series 1-5 and the Jeff Lindsay books will be my only source of Dexter i'm afraid :/

  11. @4:19 ,,,I can't help you with the live Dexter stream but I do know where you can download the episode about an hour or two after it airs ...go to filestube.com and type in Dexter season 6 episode 11 about an hr and a half after it premieres and it should be up ....the fileserve links are usually the most reliable. As far as this supposed scoop goes ...I don't know ...I read posts about Dexter on imdb.com and this user on there always sees the episodes well in advance of most people and posted a non spoiler review with little hints and stuff and it seems like its going to be another great episode. I have no doubt at all myself. I have loved this season a lot and I think we will be seeing Deb finding out some version of what Dexter is by the end of episode 12. Can't wait.

  13. Re the Dex/Deb thing -- It's icky even if they aren't related by blood. Not only that, but we like Deb, don't we? Do we really want to see her in a relationship with Dexter? Really?

  14. Two things: Yes, they are sibs, but not blood and I don't think they were that close when they were kids...Dexter always seemed to be off with Harry and Deb was left out, also Dexter was very distant and busy killing animals when he wasn't with Harry.

Another thing, why is it so weird to root for a "serial killer", especially when he kills the bad guys only. Geez, people have been rooting for guys like that for years: Batman, Superman, The Punisher, etc., how's Dexter any different. He's my favorite super hero.

  15. Back in the day people rooted for Charles Bronson in the Death Wish movies as he gunned down criminals, what makes Dexter any different.

  16. Shocking....I have not missed an episode..The rest of you adding Tweets must have....Deb and Dexter ARE half brother and sister....They share the same dad, that is why he took Dexter in when his mom was murdered...Dexter knows this but Deb does not. Don't think the show will "make them an item".

If you've watched all the episodes you've obviously not been paying attention.

In season 1, dexter's biological dad dies. He, Rita, Brian and Deb go and clear out the house. Dexter does a DNA test to confirm that Joe Driscoll is his biological dad. Then it's revealed that Brian killed Joe while disguised as a cable repair man, then he comes back at the end of the episode and takes care of the old lady who recognised him.

So, Deb and Dexter are not in any way related genetically.

  18. I'm sorry, but no. Dexter's dad died on Season 1. He's the one who donated blood to young Dex. Brian killed him. Debra's dad, Harry, had an affair with Dexter mom, but he's not his father. I think you have missed some episodes.

  20. Hey has anyone thought about the fact that Deb has put her Dexter on a pedistol, a very high one, one in which he falls he will fall unbelievably far. It is not about insest or romance.

  21. @7:45

    rewatch season 1.

    thats all.

  22. I think Deb finds out Dexter is a serial killer tonight.

  23. ^ She didn't. And she had a romantic dream about Dexter.

  24. I am so tired of people whining about this Deb and Dexter thing. They act so shocked like they didn't see it coming.

Those of us who have been paying attention for the last 6 seasons, saw Deb's feelings clearly.

The rest of you haven't even figured out that they aren't biologically related yet. Like, "adopted" not "harry's son" and so on. Sheesh.

  25. What's so shocking about the Dexter & Deb thing? It's been established as far back as the pilot episode when Dex said that "If had any feelings at all I'd have them for Deb." Michael C Hall just pointed that out in a recent interview.

  26. No there has not been signs of a relationship other than brother and sister, the quote "If had any feelings at all I'd have them for Deb." was mean more that he has no feelings for anyone but if he could he would love his sister back(and not in the incest way). People seeing sub plot that hasn't been there is annoying me, Deb and Dex might happen but it certainly hasn't been planned for the last 5 seasons

  27. A relationship between Deb and Dexter could OPEN UP whole new POSSIBILITIES, something this show really needs right now. Debra sees Dex as a hero and the closer she gets to him the more this positive image blurs.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well, I wouldn't mind it. I have always loved those two characters and I think this could be interesting. Dep.. might actually get an hint of why Dexter is as he is. If Dexter had any relationship, Deb would be the one. The question is if Dexter does actually share those feelings. I know he loves her in his way.. but actual love? Who knows...
