  1. Unbelievable!!! As much as I love love love the opening sequence to Dexter, I wouldn't mind them changing things up a bit. I think this sequence is just as creative. Maybe it's not quite as heavy on the metaphors as the current title sequence, but It's very creative and I think that Scott Buck should seriously consider using this, if only for a season premiere or finale.

  2. I like it a lot...but it kinda gives away some of what happens in the first few seasons, for people who haven't seen it yet

  3. Nooooo! It wasn't broken, don't fix it. The original Dexter intro is just deliciously Dex, suggestive, flirtatious. I don't mind change if its better, and whilst this made me smile, it just does not do it for me!

  4. This... is... AWESOME.
    jeez I love it.

But its great as video, not as opening credits. The original is still best!

  5. Ugh I fucking hate it... It's all gossip girl and sex in the city...

The reason the title sequence we have works fine is because the entire thing is Contrapuntal - It means the action doesn't fit the music and the actions look violent (because Dex is a serial killer) but are actually every day things. It disrupts our expectations. It's almost Brechtian in this approach. God that title sequence was shit!!

  8. It dont fit for real intro, but it is very good! It would fit for Early Cuts tho ;p But in original series i would prefer to watch good old Dexter smiling when he kills this damn moskito (good work Dexter!).

  10. The graphics seemed inspired by Paul Rand.. It's a cool video but not for the show!
