  2. OMG OMG OMG, Debra finds, I'm sure she'll find about this season... that's gonna change the show's dynamics forever.

  3. Changes the DNA? Deb and Dex find out they share their dad's DNA and this really messes with Deb's head. Eventually she is able to explain where her sympathy for homocidal vigilantes comes from.

  4. I bet Deb and Quinn are going to have a baby making Debra a mother and Dexter an uncle

  5. Okay here is my prediction. One of the previous posts on this site was saying that there are several credible sources saying that the 6th season of Dexter will end January 8th. Either making it a 15 episode season or a 3 week break somewhere. I say, we will see 11 of the best episodes of Dexter that we have ever seen, then at the end of the 11th episode we will something like Deb walking in on Dexter killing someone and the look on both of their faces will close the episode. Then there will be a 3 week hiatus to build up tension and pressure, then we will see the season finale to find out what Deb's reaction will be, with the hiatus and build up making the 6th season finale of Dexter a record breaking most watched episode of a series ever on showtime. The End, on to season 7. Just a theory. No matter what its going to be the best season ever. I know it. Hail Darkly Dreaming Dearly Devoted Deeply Disturbed Demented Daddy Dexter.

  6. Agree with Jessie James.

  7. ...and I agree with Jesse James, too. The 3-week break has got to be after something really crazy in episode 11. Only time will tell...

  8. I've said it before, I'll say it again. Deb's gonna get pregnant! Clues: 1)The fact that the producers said they're gonna have fun with Quinn this season, what better way to have fun with him than throwing him into an unplanned pregnancy?? 2)their is a lot of hinting that Deb has a lot on her plate this season, possibly in regards to her personal life (Job+Motherhood=How will Dedicated Detective Debra deal with having to give up her job?? What if Quinn Proposes? Can she juggle being a wife, mother and detective or will it leave her feeling smothered?)3) The producers are also saying that Quinn and Deb have some problems as far as their relationship goes and it gets complicated. This can mean that perhaps they disagree on how to go about the pregnancy (one can want the baby, one could want to abort, and possibly bail on the other because of their feelings on the matter). This could lead to a strained relationship for them...anyway....I totally think this will happen. So many people are thinking that this hint goes straight to Deb finding out, but sometimes the producers give it away and the fans will simply give in to general assumptions. You gotta look deeper than that...

  9. I think the main reason people are thinking that she'll find out is because it's near the end of the season. Granted, Deb could get pregnant, which would put a huge strain on her, Quinn, and her career, but I feel like that might be earlier on.

This is unrelated to what I just said (cuz it's not about Deb), but does anyone else think Harrison's gonna be baptized? Or at least, do you think Dex might consider it by the end of the season?

  10. To anonymous that posted about Deb getting pregnant. Read this Dexter post again ...what they are saying related to Dexter and Deb not Deb and Quinn. When they say that what will happen will change the DNA of the show ...they are talking about Dexter and Deb not Deb and Quinn. You may be right about the pregggers thing. But I STILL think that its going to go down like I said in my previous post. Just sayin. We shall see. 50 more days. I am so freaking stoked its not even funny. Regardless of who is right or wrong. I think we can all agree that we are going to see the absolute best this show has ever shown us with the upcoming season. With Edward James Almos and Colin Hanks having some seriously whacked out shit going on and seeing how Dexter becomes involved with that is going to be incredible.

  11. And I have another prediction. The producers said that Deb will go thru some career changes. We saw either in the trailer for S6 or some of the photos from the set they showed that it appeared LaGuerta was moving out of her office, like she had some things in boxes and her and Batista were talking. I say Laguerta is going to get promoted to Captain when Capt. Matthews get Police Commissioner or something of the sort, then Batista will be the new Lt. and Deb will get promoted to Sgt. We saw in the trailer some sort of ceremony type deal with Deb in her police uniform and everyone clapping and stuff. That along with what they said about career changes for Deb and the shot of LaGuerta appearing to be moving out of her office. I think thats a pretty solid theory. Again, we'll see. Just a thought.

  12. Jesse James most of your predictions make a lot of sense and i think that will happen in this upcoming season along with debra becoming pregnant.

I am really ready for this season of Dexter i've been watching re-runs on demand. I can't wait but i have to only 49 more days

  13. Jessie James, YEAP! you're on the money with: Laguerta is going to get promoted to Captain when Capt. Matthews get Police Commissioner or something of the sort, then Batista will be the new Lt. and Deb will get promoted to Sgt.....THIS WILL OCCUR IN SEASON 6!!!!

  14. Jessie James....I like where you going with that. But the only thing i'm thinking that is off about your prediction about deb walking in, 3 weeks, reaction, is part of me wants to say Showtime is NOT going to wrap this season up in a "lose ends tied" kind of way. I have a gut feeling that they're going to leave us with a cliff hanger. If they are going to leave us with a cliff hanger, why would they use three weeks, finale? The only way i could see this working is if something even crazier happened, or they saved her walking on him for the end. Maybe its like a "Holy fucking shit, im pregnet!", 3 week break, season finale with deb walking in on dexter. Yes?

  15. Something to consider:
Deb & Dex have to find out they are genetically related BEFORE she learns the whole truth. Its just good storywriting, and makes the "final reveal" that much more dramatic. Of course, writers will have to play it out, so look for DNA for the break cliffhanger, then the full truth as the last 5 min. of the season. (Which sets up next season, and they'll have to catch up to the books sooner or later ...)
I like the other speculation too - we could all be right!

"DNA" - I'd say the play on words makes that part a no-brainer at some point in the season.

  16. Although Sara Colleton said they don't read the books/go off of the books, i completely agree with the last statement. She will find out they are genetically related, break, she walks in on him for the last episode! MONEY IN THE BANK!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Oh, i have another thought too. Maybe she wont walk in on him, but maybe she will find him looking at his blood slides (and she connects that to the bay harbor butcher)? Just food for thought?

  18. Yeah, I have a feeling that the BHB case will make a re-occurrence this season.

  19. Dexter and Debra AREN'T genetically related. Dexter's bio father is Joe Driscoll. Even DNA tests have been made in S01E09 Father Knows Best episode.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I agree with Kepiachks. That just seems too unrealistic and tacky. What will they find out they are cousins or something?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Just a thought: Debra finds out about Dexter as they both fight off the last serial killer. Deb dies in the end. Might change the DNA of the show, eh?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Maybe it's what deb ends up doing not Dexter..?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Theories sound good. In the novels she knows about it and sometimes calls on him to help out. In spite of what some some say, the producers do follow some of the storylines in the novels, but they take certain liberties with them and make a few minor changes.

    ReplyDelete
  24. i dont think they can be genetically related because didn't dexter get a DNA test of his biological father before he was cremated?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm stumped. Deb's not knowing, or not consciously knowing is getting a bit old in a Clark Kent/Lois Lane kind of way. Yet, (no matter what happened in the book or even with the "vigilante killers") I don't see Deb's being okay with her brother's being a serial killer. I don't see Dex killing her either or agreeing to stop. But I also can't imagine the show without Deb. So I don't see her finding out and then abruptly getting killed before she does anything about it. I'm prepared to be surprised. I like the idea that the writers may be smarter than I am.

  26. This is bollocks... The DNA won't change. It's a pile of wank. They said that Dexter would go in a totally different direction after Rita died... Did it? NO! All they did was fill her role with 2 characters:

1 - for the fucking and romance - Lumen
2 - To look after Harrison and make phone calls at stupid times - that stupid ass nanny.

I'll believe this shit when I see it!

  27. Does anyone else have the Dexter iphone app? if so watch the latest video that introduces all of the new stars of season 6. Throughout the video, one of the new characters and even Dexter refer to Deb and Lt. Morgan. Could she have taken over for Laguerta??
